Paris Report: Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2009

At Jean Paul Gaultier traditional suiting's were all strapped up was a testament to Gaultier's masterful cutting. The collection consisted of razor-sharp shadow plaids, pinstripes, and camel. The substance of the collection was proper tailored clothing in natty pinstripes and subtle plaids. Classic outerwear came updated with sly punk and bondage references. Trench coats for the whole family were rigged with harnesses, and suit trousers were lashed with bondage straps. Children and Afro's also commented the looks of the runway. A huge applause also goes to Jean Paul Gaultier for representing male opulence of diversity in multiple shades of color.
