Milan Report: Jil Sander Fall 2009
Raf Simons decided to lean towards the other end of the spectrum during our economy downturn and dared not to play safe by no means. Raf's meticulously created a distinct silhouette on high peak closing wool jackets and suit blazers. From a design standpoint, Raf's tailored construction speaks brilliance of his well developed crafting and conceptualizing. The rounded shoulders on ribbed sweaters and coats exemplified the confidence any futuristic man quietly says once he enters a room.
