Paris Report: Hugo Boss Fall 2009

Designer Bruno Pieters took inspiration from German art history expressionism, a movement largely associated with its architecture. Sharp-edged silhouettes, angular cutting and graphic, black-and-white patterns aspects that reflected his influence for the collection. Jackets resembled formal wear with their dramatic cutaways. The collection intuitively proclaimed a push towards futuristic concepts that are more prevalent in forward thinking designers today than ever before.
